16610 bezel

Hi Folks, as well as my several older vintage models, I have my first Rolex, being a 16610 SS SCOC, that I bought new in Switzerland. Over the years I did have the watch serviced about three times at my local RSC, at which time the bezel was changed. My question is (having learned about Tritium and Luminova etc on TRF) would the newer RSC replacement bezel (say about 2014) have a luminova or superluminova pearl, or would this pearl be tritium, even though I know they stopped using Tritium in about 98 for Subs?

If I am sporting a non-tritium pearl on my 16610, thus not matching the tritium hands and dial (which are now not-glowing and original - 18.5 years old), can I either procure and replace the pearl to a tritium item (and how), or can I buy an earlier tritium pearled bezel and fit to the watch? This is a one owner full box and paper set that I bought new. Just wondering what I can do abt this issue, if infact it is a problem at all?

yes, the pearl glows ... it was a rolex service item from about 2014 / 15 when the bezel (that was corroded at the top) was replaced in service. The rest of the watch really struggles to glow .. I am pretty sure it is tritium as it's dull as dull and I bought it in June 98, so was either made in 97 or very early 98 - the last of the Trit dials, or so I have read on here.

Inserts are often changed as they are a quite cheap part around now $50- $75, and on watches like the 16610 made in there millions would doubt if insert whether Tritium or Luminover will really matter.
