New son and Rolex

He was born a little while ago, but I have not been able to post so here goes. An earlier post was made with a little baby and Grandpa's Rolex. Here is my son, and my Rolex at 13 minutes after birth. Can anyone beat that lol. He has grown so much now and is running around the place.

13 minutes after birth

20 minutes old

Now, 1 year 4 months

Thanks for looking

Great pics... He will be asking to wear that Explorer II soon! Look like he is showing you what wrist it goes on in the last picture.

Hey thanks guys, yes, sorry so late, but so much has been happening over the last year, it's just a matter of priorities.

Basically, lost my job in China, spent a year in the Philippines with my family, now still out of work back in the Uk. Had to sell my GMT Master 16700 to cover a few bills. I am hoping to get work soon so I can start the process of getting my wife and children back to the Uk, but getting a decent paying job is not easy. But staying positive.

thanks again for the lovely comments.

What a handsome boy, congrats.

Regarding your employment situation, tell us your profession and what you're looking for, you've got quite a few decision-making types in this forum and you never know where a little networking can get you, we're always here to help a fellow WIS.

Hi Speedolex,

That's a kind thought. I have been working for my last three years as a Quality Inspector/Supervisor in Huge Chinese factories in the Heavy Steel industry for a global German company. Basically overseeing the inspections/measurement of machined, fabricated and welded parts that are finally assembled-built into steel making equipment. Keeping track of the project, both in the workshops and documentation for the German company and the final customer.

Really enjoyable work, always a challenge, but with the downturn in steel production over the last few years, freelance engineers/supervisors get dropped as positions are filled internally.

Again, thanks for the idea Speed' many here might have some connections and anyone can pm me with any ideas. Thanks

Steve
