Do you wash your AP Everyday?

I do because I sweat a lot. Any issues? Especially the rubber strap on 26400.

Nope! I will clean them gently with soap and water (and a soft toothbrush or QTip) if I notice that they need it but I can't imagine sweating so much that it REALLY requires daily washing.

No... but I do typically wipe down my watches with a microfiber cloth after wearing every day... just to get smudges off. That seems to keep them clean (I have some nice microfiber cloths from Rolex and IWC) Washing every day with soap and water sounds like overkill to me. If my watch gets sweaty on rare occasion that I wear it outside on a hot day... I'll just rinse with water and then wipe down.

No I don't but as long as you use mild soap (preferrably liquid soap, not a soap bar) and warm water, I don't see any harm in washing daily. In my experience, bar soaps tend to leave residue behind so I avoid them altogether.

I think if you live in a semi-tropical climate like Singapore, you might want to do it more frequently than in temperate climates like Europe or US. When I visited Singapore and wore a PAM 233 on a rubber strap, I would rinse it at the end of everyday as it does get sticky with sweat. As an aside you probably need to get your seals checked more frequently as heat, humidity and sweat will attack them more vigorously than in cooler dryer climates.

Same here. Anything else is overkill to me.

I'm staying in Singapore. The hot and humid weather here is just crazy. I wash my watches at least once every two days due to sweat.

If it's just perspiration, I would just rince it over tap water at room temperature and wipe dry. I would avoid using soap too frequently unless your watch is really soiled

It's been an unusually hot and humid summer in Southern Ontario this year so I rinse my white CE Diver after each wear (I do perspire a lot in this weather). I do the same quick rinse with my Platona.

With my Trulli and other watches that are on horned back/gator straps, I wipe the underside of the straps with a damp soft cloth to remove the sweat. That's pretty much it for maintenance for me.

I don't wash everyday but frequently. I don't think there will be any issues. Just make sure the crown is properly and tightly screw down.

I wash it if I sweat all over it. I hate a dirty watch. Otherwise I just breathe on it and wipe it down with my t-shirt to remove fingerprints and whatnot.

Yes, the hot and humid weather over here was one of the reasons why I have purchased a bracelet for my grey theme even though I prefer the leather strap more than anything else. Leather strap is so comfortable to wear..... when I am not sweating

Ok thanks all. Seems like I need to wash it less frequent with my Kirei Kirei hand soap lol. Most of the time I just wash the rubber strap with tap water

Bought a washer/dryer with a watch setting.

I hate a smudgy watch so I wash my watches before wearing.

let's say I wear a particular AP in my collection maybe 3 times before I wash it under warm water with a clear dishwashing agent. stay away from soap containing moisturizers and bar soap, because the wax and or moisturizer will leave a film on your piece.

Def I don't like the buildup of dead skin and body oil that building up on watches.

I wipe my watches with a soft cloth everyday and try not to wash them too often, when I do I use slightly warm water and soap, and I don't wipe them after, I just make contact with a towel on the wet parts and then use a soft cloth or Qtip to finish the job
