First off G it's a Danish press and your coffee looks like brown water.

Did you push the lever all the way down?

You are correct on Bodum! Yes, I did (pic was taken halfway), I let it sit for 3-1/2 minutes before pressing, will give it 5 minutes next time. (also, there was very bright light on window, that does not help on coffee pics)

I love Frenchpress coffee, I have one for my loose tea as well. I use it for my Turkish Peppermint and Chinese black and green teas and it couldn't be better!

Correct!! Ideally, 200F. Like others have said, that looks watery. I like my coffee strong enough to grab the spoon out of your hand and beat you with it. Then taunt your mother and talk smack.

Well made coffee is a must in the morning. Do you roast your own beans? Small batch fresh roasted beans will kick the flavor meter up 100%? I have the same mugs and love them. By the way you're being very kind about Tim Hortons. They serve what I would term as a "CLO" or (coffee like object). It's really just swill. No offence to Timmies lovers.

I wondered the same thing. Didn't realize Tim's was well known down there. It has a cult following up here, but I prefer Starbucks myself.

Gerardo, nice coffee press.

Yeah I guess I figured nobody really knows it outside wny and Canada. I'm clearly wrong!

I enjoy a cup of timmies in the same way I enjoy a cheap beer. Different product but still dig it.
