116618 vs 116618LB?

What does the "LB" mean in 116618LB?

The color of the bezel, and in the case of the Subs, the dial too since they'll be the same.

LB = blue
LN = black
LV = green

In the case of the 116618 it'll be one of the first two.

Almost - but not for your past 16610LV. ;)

----

L is "Lunette" and French for glasses. So, it means strictly only the bezel that is seen as a "lunette" for the dial...

That's correct. I was speaking strictly for the 6 digit models.

It is true for all current Submariner models in the lineup. He just forgot to specify "current."

Is the 16610LV the only Sub that has a dial color that doesn't match the bezel?
The 116719 has the green dial and black bezel, but do any other Subs stray from the path there?

I'm pretty sure it's:

LV = Lunette verde
LB = Lunette bleu
LN = Lunette noir
