GMT II blue noire faulty?
Hi, I've finally joined the club and purchased my first Rolex. I'm not sure if it's a lemon or not as I noticed some strange behaviour when adjusting the minute hand, if I wind the minute to the correct minute and let go of the crown sometimes it "pulls to a minute or half a min before or after". The only way to get the exact time on minute hand is to hold the crown and immediatly push it in. If feels like there is a tiny resistance within the movement at certain points ie I feel a slight pulling on the crown..is this normal, thanks in advance

I'm not sure but all of my Rolex watches act like the following:
Unscrew out and pull out Crown Adjust minute hand by turning crown and finely turning right and to left to center minute hand where it is supposed to be, and push in crown without turning so it doesn't move the finely set minute hand. There is some play when in adjusting minute hand. When I do the above, the hand stays exactly where it should be. If your's doesn't, then maybe something is wrong. Show us some pics to verify authenticity...(detailed, and many)

I didn't look at your video.
I will say that it is mechanical watch works connected by gears and pinions. Those gears have to engage tooth-to-tooth when you set/engage it. It will almost never "line up" exactly where you want without some gear-lash.

My goodness...that looks like a lot of play if your hands are jumping that much and you're just pulling or pushing in the crown. I would get that checked out.

My GMT IIc has a little play when setting the minutes, but the minute hand does not move backwards like yours. Not sure if that is a sign of a problem or just within normal range of behavior.

My Sub will do this. When it does I usually turn it back a half turn then slowly move it to correct time. No big deal. Its prob just the gears binding a bit.
