UFC 205: McGregor vs. Alvarez Main Event
Historic UFC 205 at MSG NYC announced main event super fight today between Featherweight Champ (and Rolex enthousiast) Conor McGregor and Lightweight Champ Eddie Alvarez.
Should be a great fight with potentially historic results, BUT IMO McGregor might get his lights turned out. I really like the guy and love what he's done for the sport, but Alvarez has some heavy hands. I personally didn't think McGregor stood a shot against Dos Anjos, and Alvarez knocked him out in the opening round. Either way this should be interesting. The rest of the card is STACKED!!!! Any fans out there in TRF land? Thoughts?  OH... Also I think McGregor and I have the same watch... that's cool

I'm trying to get tickets for this as well. Eddie has been my favorite fighter since I first saw him in 2008.
I've had this custom Eddie signature for the MMA forums since then, too!  The fights are right before my birthday, so my wife is trying to get tix + hotel in NYC for the weekend. We may have to sign up for the early-access package the UFC offers in order to make sure we get tickets. |

my buddy at work drove up to nyc for the press conference yesterday. Hes a diehard fan. I follow connor on ig and he definitely has alot of nice rolexs. He got a galaxy skydweller caramel not long ago!

Can't wait!! To say the card is stacked is an understatement! Looking forward to 204 as well. No denying Conor's talent, although I wanted to see the Aldo fight go a bit. Crisp shot though. Uncle Dana must be pissing his pants with joy, but the belt issue will be interesting to see play out if Conor wins.

Best card of all time. Better than UFC 100, 200, 196, 189 etc. So many exciting fights; and I think the main event is going to be a good one. I see a McGregor win by TKO in the 2nd round. Eddie is a great fighter, a true veteran, but Eddie takes shots to land shots, and McGregor has the precision to put him out.

I think after seeing ticket prices I'll be watching this one in the comfort of my home. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like anything above the 100 level would be a waste.
