Hi All,
Planning on buying a SD4000 in Jersey, Tax off and GST of 5% refunded later.
Has anyone else had experience of buying there and did they post their boxes and papers back?

You'll need to check they (Hettich AD) have one first since they have had limited stock the same as many other UK ADs. I was lucky, I enquired about a SD4K and one came in the following week which I snapped up, before the price increase too.

Whilst you should get your 5% GST back you'll be liable for tax when you go back to the UK. Not sure the AD would agree to sending box and paperwork by post as you're basically defrauding HMRC. I live in Jersey so there was no tax issue for me.
