Talk about a busy hurricane season!
To our friends in LA, TX and MS, please keep safe.
...it looks like we will have a lot more fun (Gustav, Hanna, Ike and a new one coming up!) http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ http://www.wunderground.com/tropical/?index_region=at |

I spoke with one of my Louisiana friends midday Monday and things weren't as bad as Katrina where he is.(Norhtshore of Lake Ponchartrain) He did lose power about 11:00 am but has his generator going and 40 gallons of gas so he should be good. I haven't spoken with anyone from the Baton Rouge or Lafayette area yet so I don't know how they fared. Looks like the east coast is in for a Hannah visit. My prayers are with everyone who has to deal with it. Good luck.

Everything has been ok, as one of our employees tells us 'mother nature has no word of honor' so we have to keep tracking these things daily. It is part of our rutine, come to the office, check NHC's website and make sure we are clear of their tracks. So far, so good, but we still have 3 more months to go.

Looks like S Carolina is going to get hit by Hanna, I am glad it's skirting the coast of Fla. But need to keep an eye on Ike and Joesphine. It looks like more to come off of Africa in the next 10 days. Oh joy!
