Day date tridor

My dealer has offered me a day date tridor, my question is how rare are these and do you see them going up? I am not that big of a fan of them to be honest, however It would be a cool piece to keep for a few years and wear occasionally, usually chit chat from my dealer explaining to me how much these will rise soon.....he seems to say that about every piece he has

This is not the watch he is offering, I just got this from google. It is exactly the same as this though with diamonds and same bezel colour complete with box and papers. He has offered me it for £9800 which seems a good deal?

That's a reasonable price - the surface in the US regularly (not every day) for around $12K, probably a little more with the diamond dial.

He's not giving it away...and the Day-Date market seems to be a bit flat after all the hype after the big Phillips DD auction a few years ago.

The bracelet is really amazing, huge fan...looks great in natural light.

Looks to be in very nice condition. However, I can't imagine buying an old watch I don't really like, just because I hoped to make some cash in a couple years.
