Icon14 FSOT: BNIB Glashutte Original Senator Chronometer 18k WG - $18500

Up for sale is a brand new GO Senator Chronometer. It’s a stunning yet unassuming watch in 18k white gold.

I absolutely love this watch. The combination of the purpose-built history of the marine chronometer with the refined class offered by Glashutte Original watchmaking is a perfect match. You get clean execution of an innovative complication in a package that is extremely versatile.

The case is a great size at 42mm with short lugs, making it wearable on all wrists and lending heft without being top-heavy. The grained white dial showcase the blued hands well and when dressed up with appropriate straps, can go formal to casual in a snap.

And then the star of the show (for me) is the innovative complication that is completely in line with the history of the chronometer. Here is a description taken from GO’s website.

Quote:
The functions are driven by the sophisticated manual winding Calibre 58-01. Among its features is a refined second-stop mechanism: when the crown is pulled out, the time display stops and the seconds hand is reset to zero and held there; simultaneously the minute hand jumps ahead to the next full minute index. As the crown is turned to set the time, the hand always jumps to the next minute index – thus ensuring that the correct relationship between seconds and minutes is maintained.
The watch is a complete set, and includes all boxes, manuals, chronometer certification, warranty certificate, and unworn OEM strap and 18k deployant. MSRP is over $32,000.

My price is $18500 NET (shipped) (roughly 40% off list). Payment via wire preferred. Paypal, cashier's check, or money order okay, but you cover fees based on your choice of form of payment and appropriate “clearance” time will be allotted for PP or deposit type of payments. I will cover shipping and insurance within CONUS. I have countless references on numerous forums for many high-dollar transactions. Contact me with any questions.

All trades considered, but due to NUMEROUS scam attempts lately, I will ask that you ship to me first unless you can provide me solid references of transactions with forum moderators (I can on multiple forums). Thanks.
