We are doomed in UK

After seeing the price in gpb 10600 vs usd 14400 for the 326934 skyweller both with tax according to Rolex web site.



Current VAT is at 20%
Xchange rate is 1.25

we will bring them to you in the UK and trade you for VAT back Patek's that are 28% less with the pound around 1.23 last time I did the math.

I'm confused as to the OP's point. I assume sarcasm because:

Until there is another adjustment to the Rolex price list or the Pound has a recovery, the prices are significantly less in the UK. The US prices do not include sales tax, and the UK ones inclde 20% VAT.

If it is about availablility, a recent thread shows that it is major cities in the south that have a limited number and there are models available if you travel outside the city limits.

Maybe it's a comment on Brexit and that the right wing press has convinced the public that Europe and imigants are a bad thing, in which case the OP is right, the UK is scewed, and we did it to ourselves in full view the the rest of the world, and they are now laughing at us. Nearly as hard as about electing Trump.
