Hi Folks
Has anyone bought the Air-King 2016 and what do you think? Cheers Mike |

It divides opinion, and when it came out I hated it.
However I warmed to it and it grew on me so much that I tracked one down at an AD and bought it. It has colour, personality and presence, and that's enough for me. |

Did you finally take the stickers off your AK following the lack of anything amazing at Basel last week? There seems to be a lack of wrist shots around for this model.

Personally, I'd love to find a pre-supercase Air King with a salmon stick dial, before the 3/6/9 dial. Y-serial? It's the "one that got away. |

I saw one in the wild recently and it was a beauty. The gentleman had it on with a nice suit. Overall doesn't seem too popular on these forums tho.

I purchased mine when they were released last year and have really enjoyed wearing it. I have several Rolex watches so this was a nice addition due to the changes made and especially the dial. I don't think it's for everyone, but I do feel if you have several others this is a good one to get. Just be sure to get it for the best price possible. Enjoy if you end up getting it.
Also you can wear it for St. Patrick's day as it has green on the dial |

Any truth to the rumour I've heard that Rolex intend discontinuing this watch once the Bloodhound has made its run? I've heard that from two separate sources now. It's being earmarked as a future classic because of this by those in the know. That's what I've heard....just saying.

I like it. Great wrist presence when I tried. Only concern is long term ownership.

I owned one, liked it on a rubber b band more than the bracelet.
