Icon20 Getting a complete set for Datejust 16014

Hi everyone
I currently own a datejust ref. 16014, with the original box.
I would like to assemble more of the accessories, so I can get more of a "complete set"
Does anybody know what I would need, and also what it is specifically for this model? According to the serial number, the watch is from 1983.
Can anybody help me with making a list of all the specifics things I would need to find, and where can I find them?
Thank you so much in advance

Since you already have the box, here are a couple of things you should be able to track down: A Datejust booklet, the one with the dude playing polo on the cover; and a "Your Rolex Oyster" booklet, which I think has a side view of a gold Day-Date and a stainless steel Rolex on the cover. Check the dates because these were used for many years, and they should have the month and year printed on one of the rear pages. You'd want the year to match the watch, of course.

You could also get a red chronometer seal/tag. Check the style for the early-'80s because I believe they changed that.

The two items for a complete set you won't be able to find unless you hit the lottery are the original guarantee paper and green Rolex tag with the matching serial number.

The sales section on this forum, the Vintage Rolex Forum, and eBay are places to look. Good luck!

Your accessories should match the box if you are trying to put a correct set together. As an example, if you have the USA Bufkor box, your booklets should be marked USA, not ENG or some other language.

If it's a European set that you are going after, then you would want the moonscape box with the slotted insert card that holds the watch for circa 1983 along with the correctly marked language - probably ENG. I would look for date coded books from 1982, 1983 or 1984. It does not have to perfectly match the estimated year of production and rarely does.

The red hang tag should be embossed on both sides, it should not have a hologram. There are several versions of this hang tag as it changed through the years. The 1980s red hang tag is pictured below and is wider or fatter than the pre-1980s hang tags.

Would there have been a Calendar as well?
