Sapphire caseback for Rolex 1500?

Hey guys, I have a vintage oyster perpetual date 1500.

I am looking to get a sapphire caseback for my watch. In the following link, I cannot find my model. I guess my question is... the air king models listed (14000)... would the caseback fit mine ay 1500 as well?

Please see link. Thanks guys! There's so much knowledge here , gotta love it!

Also if anyone knows of anywhere else to find one of these babies for my watch please chime in! I checked eBay but couldn't find anything for the 1500 on there.

Why don't you ask the company that makes/sells them?

Waiting on the dude to get back to me. Just curious if anyone else knew of any other places to get these things and if they think the air king 14000 caseback would fit my 1500

I dont know if there is any difference between the ref 1500 and ref 15000. I found one for the 15000 at rafflestime. It is for a Brevet 6294 and fitted straight on.. It was very inexpensive and I purchased it just for fun mostly. I wouldn't really trust it for waterproofing. To be honest I thought it looked like crap after about 10 mins and put the original back on.

I will keep yours in mind if this one doesn't fit. I went with the above link and it was 100 usd plus 8 for shipping. I've read up on this Thomas guy and seems like these are top quality with waterproofing. Sapphire as well not crystal. Thank you for your time and response. Will be interesting!

I'm rolling the dice. Going to purchase the caseback for the air king 14000 and hope it fits. Both watches are 34mm in diameter and I'm banking on them having the same caseback. We will see!

He's just talking about aesthetics, not practicalities.

Alright. Gotcha. Yeah I went with the one from Germany. It's much more pricier but there's been reviews online about it and it's gotten rave reviews on the quality and such.
