Red seals and two line subs
Hi guys
Did 2 line subs come with red seals or was it only when the 4 line sub came out? Thanks Matt |

No red chronometer seal / tag for a 2 line Submariner.
2 line = no chronometer = no red seal 4 line = chronometer = with red seal |

The 14060 and 14060M were not certified by the COSC so no red disc, until it was stated on the dial . But it had exactly the same movement as the Explorer that was tested and same movement as those in the 4 line 14060M COSC tested versions.

A red chrono tag included with a two-line sub is often a red flag that someone has probably cobbled a "full set" together to raise the price, without much care for what that full set should really be comprised of.
