Well my gmt 16710 bracelet is annoying me a little. It either a little too loose or a little too tight. Now I don't really want to stretch it. So thinking of getting a leather strap. Can people please post their Pepsi/Coke on strap? Is it a good look?

Ps. If there is a trick to resizing the bracelet I would appreciate some pointers.

Make sure the clasp is centered and then use the micro adjustments on the clasp... if you've already done this then probably not much more you can do. If your wrist swells easily with heat/humidity/use, then at some points during the day it's going to be too tight (or too loose). You may find you have the same problem w a strap and may have to to punch extra holes. You will prob have the best fit with rubber given that it has a little stretch and slides less on the wrist.

Yea, I don't have an issue with swelling, been wearing a bracelet for the last few years. It's just that the fit is between the micro adjustment holes. The watch doesn't feel right. Maybe cause I have been wearing the same watch for so long?

This is also quite easy to do on your own w the correct screwdriver, which you can find on eBay or a number of sites such as offrei

The watch is so versatile. To me it's a perfect first watch. Casual and can be formal as needed.

So to the gmt owners out there. What's a good YouTube video that shows changing bezels. I looked and there are a lot of idiots that essentially scratch the heck out of their watches. I intend to do it properly and research and get the right tool first. Any recommendations?

I think the Pepsi would look good on a light tan leather strap or a black leather strap but I prefer my 16710 on the bracelet. The SEL bracelet just flows from the case perfectly. Honestly I think most Rolex's just look better on bracelets. My Speedmaster on the other hand looks as good if not better on a leather strap.

Old thread, I know. I sometimes wear my 1675 Pepsi on a blue Horween shell (it looks black in this picture, but it's a dark blue with a bit of green when in sunlight) strap. Lug pieces and a Rolex 16mm buckle finish up the look. I normally wear this on a bracelet, but sometimes it's nice to change things up.

I think I prefer the bracelet to both of those but had fun trying. Pardon the lousy phone camera image quality.
