Mayors in Boca

Stopped in mayors in Boca first time in one of their stores was asking about when they expect to receive the new SD43 & SS SkyD which they said not until July-August and just for chits and giggles asked how many names on the list for a Daytona C she said about 350 lol. I was rather impressed they add 5 years to the standard Rolex warranty so if you buy from them its a 10 year warranty.

Solid store. I've purchased 2 watches from them (different locations) in the past few years and they tell me I'm on the list. I'm probably number 350 :)

I stopped by a Mayors on Friday after learning that someone already picked up the SD50 and someone else tried on the newest basel world releases.

They said end of summer, fall - i was surprised but they said they are low on the list in regards to getting the new stuff.

I will never buy a watch from them. 1) the selection is weak 2) the prices i can find online are better 3) i once bought a ladies president for my wife with aftermarket diamond and saphire bezel. i made the mistake of bringing it in to size it and the young, attractive russian saleswoman went out of her way to say it was an aftermarket bezel and try and embarrass me - even saying they would not dare take a link out and i have completely voided the warrantee.

I handled the situation with class - but promised i'd never give them my business.

Wow that's a really crappy experience I can't blame you in the least never doing business with them I feel the same way about buying watches retail plus sales tax just can't bring myself to do it.

My AD in Miami also gave me extra 5yrs on warranty for a total of 10yrs. Is this rarely seen from ADs or is it somewhat common?

I believe they are owned by the Canadian Birks chain. The extended warranty is the same as it the poor selection and pricing.

It's hit or miss with every salesperson you deal with at mayors. I bought my wife's hulk from one girl at the galleria and she's gone out of her way to discount other pieces for me. The 10 year (1 service included) warranty is not bad either...

Buying a watch at an ad in boca is asking to be treated poorly and pay full retail. Avoid like plague.

Was just at Mayors in Tampa on Saturday and had a great experience. Went in to try on a dj2 but don't plan on buying there though because pricing is much better here.
