Just came in the mail

So after my first watch this year the 5513, i placed an order on the new Sea Dweller, after that i saw this watch and pulled the trigger also. This Daytona 6263 is sort of a grail watch, i started looking into Vintage rolex maybe in November 2016, really wanted a panda color way but this was the only one my guy i dealt with had with all original parts.

6263 is sort of a grail watch??? That's like saying that Harry Winston sort of sells nice diamonds. That and a 5513 in one year, come on that's just too much. Seriously though, nice watch.

Thats a great reference! Only seen a few in person, definitely on my grail list.

Maybe its the pic (and my own ignorance and failing eyes) but what is up with the bottom end link? Its kind of floating there, no? Is that a normal look for this reference?

That is called a vintage, stretched out tube end link. That just happens from time and wear and happens to most end links regardless of watch model.

I think you need more patience if you think looking a few months is tough. The perfect watch is many times years away with some bad luck. You did great btw. Congrats!

THANK YOU ALL for the kind works, i was going to buy the new daytona 116500 and pay the resell price but felt i should just get the vintage one since i can stretch the spending many more watches to go in the coming month hoping to get a nice Vintage Rolex collection by end of 2018..hopefully i get a call for the new sea dweller and that would be my everyday watch.

That new SD is massive and heavy. Quite the contrast to the somewhat delicate feel of the vintage 6263.

I hesitate to ask ... but by the looks of the first photos in your post (hand size, rings, manicure, purse), I assume you are a woman? That is irrelevant in this context, of course, except perhaps when it comes to watch sizes and comfort.
