15202 as casual watch

Anybody use the Jumbo 15202 as a casual, everyday watch? Or is it more of a dress watch?

I don't see why not, but why would you? Keep a Rolex for your everyday watch and save the Jumbo for an occasional piece

I wore it as an everyday watch while I had it. Nothing wrong with that

I wore a 15300 daily and it was great. Wrist awareness is key imo with the RO line

I can't do it in good conscience. Every scratch on the perfectly polished bracelet hurts my soul. Plus no screw down crown makes me anxious about washing my hands at all

When I get the 15202 it will be my go to casual watch. With the 44 RG as like my once or 2x a week watch.

It's water resistant whether the crown is open or closed.

I know but I just get anxious for some reason. I hate setting the date on this thing too

I think it is an all round watch, because these days people even wearing tuxedos wear Rolex sports watches or PP 5711 without blinking an eye. 30 years ago that would never happen. You would only wear a leather strapped gold or platinum dress watch with tuxedo. Times have changed.

You just gotta be ok with the scratches. If you are, I think it's a great every-day watch.

it's a dressy sport watch... biggest downside would be scratching up the bracelet.

I was thinking about getting an AP Diver as a daily because of the rubber strap

It can work as a daily provided you don't mind scratching the beautifully finished bracelet.

Originally launched as a luxury sports watch, I believe it was intended for both casual and business wear. Goes well with everything from a tux & bow tie to bathing shorts & a cold beer in hand!

I do wear it as a casual watch, you just need wrist awareness to avoid the scratch.

I've almost gotten a 15300 a few times and planned on wearing it on casual days out of the office - aka not while typing at a desk - weekends/get togethers etc

I wear my Patek 5711-12 as everyday watches, basically the same as a 15202, haven't had a chance to wear my unworn 15300 yet, want to send it for a service before wearing it, of course I don't wear them for activities where I could bang or scratch them, but on a day to day basis I wear them the most, and apart a few tiny hairlines no problem, so don't see why you can't, I never wear suits, except weddings and funerals, always dress casual, and they look fine

As a kid, seeing old Bond films with Sean Connery wearing Rolex (even with tuxedo) is what started my lifelong interest in the brand. And on a NATO strap too! Awesome.

Anyway, I think the 15202 could probably be worn every day, obviously not to the gym or while chopping wood.

"Wrist aware" daily wearing...

I have owned a few 26320's and as others have said being OK with those little swirls is a part of the ownership.

I wouldn't, I'm OK with bracelet marks but not on the bezel if possible.

Watches are meant to be worn! Every hairline adds character and individuality. Wear it daily, it'll be fine!

Why do people say the bracelet will get scratched up? What are you guys doing with your watches? Rubbing them on cement?

I have had so many SS watches with basically no marks as long as you are aware of what you are doing. I have an omega james bond edition that is my default I don't care what happens to it watch. And even that, I just have marks on the clasp. Very faint marks if that. The rest is 100%, and it's like a 10 year old watch.

I wonder which jumbo is more desirable. The blue dial or white dial?

if you so much as tap your wrist on a desk you will get a mark. maybe when you put your hands in your pocket and the button corner of the jeans hit it. Sometimes when I am taking off my seatbelt it will tap if I am being quick. I guess I am careless

Also for me the blue dial is the most desirable
