GMT IIc - goes best with............

Hi all,

What are the opinions out there in regards to what attire the new GMTIIc goes best with?

Due to its polished centre links and general “Bling” factor I am presently favoring wearing this piece with Smart Casual Office wear (Suit pants, Shirt and optional suit jacket).

However, with jeans, cargo pants T-Shirts etc, I am favoring the EXP II over the GMT IIc for its more subdued looks and in my present opinion; more suited ability to dress down.

it goes well with my oakley sandals, maui jim sunglasses and my nike shorts and t shirts, especially when you go into your local AD unshaven as well... .... ahahahahaha

I suppose the real answer is "anything goes well with the GMT IIc"

You can dress like a sack of manure tied up with string but that baby on your wrist won't let you down lol

It goes with anything, Jeans, Suit, shorts and t shirt, It's amazing

I wear my Steel GMT IIC everywhere. From the suit and tie at work, to the khaki shorts, polo shirt and birkenstocks.

Thats why I got it. You can dress it up or down, great for any occasion.

i wear mine everyday with a harley teeshirt, faded levies 501 blue jeans and new balance tennis shoes. i don't think it is a blingy watch at all.

Sunglasses, long hair, earings, beer belly and tight leopard skin trousers with sleveless t-shirt.

Think Rod Stewart or Def Leopard - or an aged Bon Jovi.

Its the polished centre links that do it (the watch is great)

GMT2c is one of the most versatile watch there is you can wear them in formal or rugged or in sports attire (racing suits etc.)

personally, i would't wear professional models with a suit and tie. just doesn't match for me.. too rugged

That's interesting to me, considering you're in ultra-casual SoCal! Part of me agrees with you, but these days, the traditional rules are relaxed. I have on my Expy2 Noir on today with a black suit. Looks GREAT, IMO.

I just got married three weeks ago, and I can tell you from personal experience that the IIc goes spectacularly well with a tuxedo. I don't think there's much it won't go well with. Casual, formal, it looks great regardless. Very sharp looking watch with just enough casual flair.

Agree, traditional- suit can be match with leather strap watch, but I wear my GMT SS everyday, also wedding, brithday, annual dinner party too. it is good for every where right now.

I think it goes best with a nice bottle of Chardonnay, lightly breaded filet of halibut and steamed vegetables on the northern California Coastline sitting across (fill in hottie or beefcake of your choice) in a hot tub. Don’t forget to screw the crown down.
