Need help identifying this vintage model
Hey Guys,
I need some help identifying this model and value. Good friend of mine father was the original owner and it was passed down to him and ever since has been a great unpolished watch. Thanks a lot! |

Just look between the 12:00 lugs and you should see a 4 digit model number (serial number is at 6:00)
A quick Google search will give you everything you need.

I suspect that's a redial though since it should say "t Swiss t"

Thanks, unfortunately I dont have access to the watch in person.
I dont know much about date or datejust models. But now that you point it out I think it probably is a redial. |

What size is the case?
With the exception of the hands, looks much like my 34mm refinished 6518 Sent from my cracked, broken, hand wound Phone |

It is a 50's watch as far as I know, the style is consistent with that and also the swiss designation at 6 o'clock.
If you have a look at the other side you will see the serial number. There is a serial number chart here and then you can date the watch approximately. I would guess about 1956. Oh, and check for a roulette date wheel. The even numbers should be red in that case. |
