Vintage Rolex 6694 Dials

Good Morning All,

This is my first posting so please accept my apologies in advanced for not following the Rolex code.

I am looking to purchase my first Rolex, and I am loving the 6694 manual winding models from 1950s to 1960s.

However I have noticed that the dials ( Rolex brand name) logos are not consistent. As I have been told dial detail is very important, can any one share some insight into this?

I have attached a photo of two watches I was looking at.

Thank you very much.

The time-only watch looks like it might be a re-painted dial: I can't tell if it is 6424 or 6426. The quick way to tell is if it has lug-holes. As for the 6694, I can't tell for sure and will wait for better voices than mine.
