A Rough Night For Someone

Did I mention that I am moving my shop?

So I am still in the process of moving the yard where we keep a lot of our pallet rack. This is the 3rd car crash since we moved in.

We have no idea where the driver is. All air bags deployed. No idea how they even survived. The picture, as bad as it is, does not do it justice. The car is a total wreck.

I am assuming the guy/gal was wasted and is trying to avoid a DD charge. But still, they need to be in a hospital.

So they crashed into your place of business? And this is the third time this has happened?

Correct sir. This is by far the worst occasion.

It's actually just a yard I lease to store some product.

I'm actually in the process moving everything into a new location. Office, warehouse and yard all in one.

They will catch the perp eventually. Wonder if the car was stolen?

Good news is if it was not I would assume the owner/driver has insurance.

The car may have been stolen from a car lot that hasn't even figured out its gone yet. If its not stolen, the owner may dodge the DUI charges but will still have a headache to explain this little problem to their insurance agent.

If they have abandoned it on your premesis can you claim it? It might still be worth something as scrap and will go towards repairing your yard.

It was removed very quickly by the police.

Yeah, this can't end up well for them, either way.

Dang, that is a lot of damage. Kind of amazing the safety of cars today. I am guessing someone walked/stumbled away from that.

Glad you or none of your peeps were around when this happened Seth.

Wow! Serious accident. The city needs to put in some crash guards, reflectors or flashing lights.

At this point they (police) know who owns it.

As someone else said, they have probably avoided a dui charge but are responsible for the result either way. Glad you are getting the heck out of there as it seems to be a somewhat regular occurrence.
