As someone not from the USA I have no idea what this means but "you owe $0" sounds good to me.

I hope you all know one thing, you can owe 0 tax because you withhold the right amount during the year. I doubt he owed 0 tax at all.

My yearly federal tax return was submitted April 15th. It took two months for our Internal Revenue Service to finish examining, affixing various stamps, seals, and ribbons among numerous places, signing, initialing, applying the pounce and blotter, and in general, deciding that it looked close enough to accept.

Payment, submitted at the same time, was cashed in three days.

Every year I am ready for battle but through creative writing and a large abacus, I've so far avoided controversy.

Figuring out the exact amount of withholding is an art very few can achieve.

For me, I would rather owe the IRS than over over estimate and wait for a refund.
