Just compared the SD43 to my D-Blue the other day at my AD. The SD43 is lighter and thinner than the D-Blue by 75%. I was thinking of buying a Submariner Date as I do not have a black faced Rolex, yet I like the more substantial SD43 over the Sub with a $3K price difference that may be a deciding factor for some. I'm willing to pay the difference as the SD43 is a 50th Anniversary watch.
