help
Thinking of purchasing this pen...Can someone in here, with more experience than myself, please take a look and see if this pen seems to be a legit Montblanc? Hard to believe this is brand new as these haven't been produced in some time. I'm gonna attach the link, but not sure if this site allows that...If not, please feel free to remove the post. thanks, Gerry

Unfortunately I can't really help with authenticity. It is nearly impossible to authenticate from pictures though often you can say it is a fake. I simply don't know enough to tell.
I did love living in Sea Pines though. |

NOS pens do seem to show up now and then on ebay. You'd be amazed at the amount of NOS Omas pens that have been turning up on ebay lately from all sorts of decades.

So I researched the pen, and research d the seller, and came to the conclusion that the pen is more likely real than fake. It comes with all of the original documentation, and the seller has impeccable reputation with thousands of sales. Along with that, it comes with a 30 day money back guarantee and authenticity is guaranteed. So I decided to go ahead and purchase it. I will take it to a montblanc dealer for confirmation, but I feel pretty confident in its authenticity. Thanks for the help.

Hopefully you are the one that hit the button!! Great looking pen. And as a couple have said it is not at all uncommon to come across NOS pens from long ago. Since it was not available I did not look that closely but from what I saw it looked good.

Yes it was me. Couldn't hold out any longer. I'm not usually a fan of purchasing things on eBay, but having wanted this pen for a long time and not being able to find one on here, I decided to pull the trigger and get it...I will post pics once I receive it. Thanks again.
