Tempus Machina creates their own "bakelite" 6542

Not going to lie, it's a good looking watch, but $35k?? No freaking way.

Plus, it still feels and breathes "fake" to me...can't say I'm a huge fan of the Bamford / Machina movement.

I like it a lot. It's like a RUF to a Porsche or Alipna to BMW. Genuine then modified.

There's a fair bit of work being done there. Custom dial, hands crystal, bezel, bezel insert, and modified case. I don't think it's worth $35K, but I do acknowledge the attention to detail.

Purchase price + lots of work + custom parts + 100% retail Markup... I don't even think they're making any decent profit.

Must be a labour of love! :)

That is an amazingly gorgeous watch and no silly logos on the dial like Bamford.
This is very tastefully done. I don't know how much value one can put on the modifications but at precious metal pricing it will be tough to justify.

If I had disposable funds, I'd buy it in a heart beat.
Favorite features are the big crown(sans guards), bezel and dial, in that order.

Oh my just realized this also has lug holes....definitely love it now.

Can see the interest but not for 35, and not for me even for less

Works as a fun, albeit expensive piece. Would make for an interesting (and likely brief) visit to the RSC!

Looks awesome! Like the majority here I would not pay that much for it, but considering what they've done it's probably not an absurd asking price.
