Just a Walk in the Park >>>>>

The other day my wife and I visited the Denver Botanical Gardens...
Absolutely breath taking !!! Had some business in Denver to take
care of in the morning and after decided to just relax and recuse ourselves
from the hustle and bustle of life...

We've visited a couple of other botanical gardens but nothing like
this ... Ticket salesperson said it'd take a couple of hours to see .
4 hours later and I think we didn't see it all ...
Enjoying the scenery I came across some beautiful flowers that resemble
a color I really like ... So what to do ? Capture the moment ...
Hope you enjoy the scenery as much as we did ...
I have lots more pics if anyone wants me to post more...
So tranquil and peaceful, it was a beautiful day all around...

Very nice. I love the way the dial changes colour to almost the same dark as the flowers.

Nice, I was there on Saturday of last week. It was raining off and on but it was still a good time.

We are going to check Chatfield Farms next week.

One of the best things about the gardens is that they have a summer concert series there. In the sunken amphitheater, they have concerts and you can bring in your own wine and food. Holds maybe 3500 people.

Seeing Dwight Yoakam there on Thursday night and then Lucero later in the month. Best part is I can walk home after the show!

Here's another shot where the dial almost
Perfectly blends in with the flowers ...
just love this dial .... this is the reason
the Bluesy stayed over the BLNR !!!!

Absolutely beautiful the pictures and the Bluesy thanks for sharing. Looking at the work that went into the ponds and grounds is just mind boggling. Those Victoria amazonica waterlillies are Awesome.

Looks like a very chilled out day. A nice way to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The ones in Sydney are fantastic for that!
