RO 15202 Serials

Hi,
I'm a new member in here and I have a question for you guys :-)
Last week i became a happy owner of the 15202, J serial.

Can anyone tell me the differences about the serials on the 15202?
On my backcase it stands RoyalOak, but i've seen plenty with a N(number) instead?

Thanks happy monday!

AFAIK they no longer put the No. on the case and just the lettered serial. I am assuming that is what you are referring to by saying N(number)? J is the current series.

I have 2 2017 new releases one is a RG 44 and there is both a No.XXX at the top and a JXXX at the bottom. My 44Ti only has JXXXX at the bottom.

The current incarnation of the 15202 was introduced circa 2012 with the H serial. Sometime in the middle of the I serial they updated the clasp and made the dial slightly darker. The J serial is the current serial and is unchanged.

Enjoy your nice 15202! It took me a while before to get very happy about it. I wanted one big time, finally got one and felt disappointed. I started to wear it and after few days got very much happy about it!

Spot on! I got my 15202 around April, it's J series with numbers following the said letter. The dial is darker blue on a butterfly clasp almost similar to the Nautilus line. There's an exhibition case back where you can see the rotor and the movement.
