Will RSC fix damage on dial ?

QUESTION....

Will a Rolex Service Center fix (retouch) a small paint chip on black part of dial on 16520?

What if the chip occured during disassembly of hands when RSC was servicing the watch?

Does RSC have the capability to retouch a chipped dial that they created?

Txs

They would most likely replace the dial.

They are more into the exchange business, look for an independent to have it repaired with respect for originality

This is my instinct as well. In fact I'm quite sure they wouldn't repair.

Will RSC fix damage on dial ?

As a practice, Rolex would not retouch a modern dial for slight damage like you described. That would be a service dial replacement option if it came to RSC with damage. Same if they did the damage during overhaul to an otherwise pristine dial.

If it was a historic vintage model with an exotic or unavailable dial, they might refinish it inside their restoration department.

No. They will not do any service on watch or dial, unless you swap the dial.
