AP ROO ceramic 2017 novelty AD discount?

want to know what is the maximum discount available with the dealers for this piece?

Also if I'm willing to pay full deposit upfront can I get a good deal?

The old anthracite dial started out usd 41k but after a year or two there was considerable discount available. So is it better to be just patient and let the hype die down and get a good price much later.

Thank you
Regards

the new ceramic 44 retail price is considerably lower than the old ceramic, dealer margins have been cut by AP, and there are not that many around as production on CE seems to be pretty low. I have seen only one since they launched. All this leads me to believe discounts are not going to be very large.

It's currently being offered on watchfinder for about 5k over list so I'd be surprised if you could achieve much more than 5% disc if anything at all. It's also being suggested that the production is so low that it will become boutique only.

I also believe the ceramic is the least issued of the new ROOs so discounts will be tight for a while.

Thank you all. Since I already have the earlier version of the RG 44 should I sell my 42 RG and use the funds to buy the Royal Oak chrono RG blue dial gold sub dials 2017 release. The watch however looks great in pics but when I personally wore the new blue dial I wasn't too attracted to it but these watches and new dial variations do take time to grown on a person. However the black ceramic 44mm is a brilliant piece.

My friend and I tried on the blue ROC and we both felt the blue dial was quite dark even in the ADs so unless you love it I would pass. The 44 is a good choice altho I've never seen one. I also do like the old anthracite dial however.

Nah the Brits don't know what they're talking about 99.99% of the time, though this time he might be right, but it's like one in a million, us Frogs have much better judgement
