Still top dog in the collection

Over two months into the ownership of my first ROO, actually first AP and it’s still my favourite of all the watches I’ve owned

And we all have our opinions of specific watch cleaning products and I know most favour good old hand soap and a toothbrush but I do like to spoil my watches and love Don’s product at Wristclean

That is a pretty perfect AP. Same thing happened to me and haven't purchased other brands since. Every time I go to pull the trigger on another brand there is an AP I want more.

Comfort wise definitely top dog. No argument. Hope to see some other dial colors in future.

i totally agree with you. I had the same feelings this morning. This was also my first AP and was supposed to be my weekend watch. Turns out, I’ve been grabbing it more often! Great photo.

I don't blame you. Comfort, craftsmanship, finishing and overall good looks put that one next level in my book.

Thanks guys, I haven’t totally jumped ship to AP I still have one Rolex left in the camp.

However I am on the wait list for an end game piece which I’m keeping everything crossed on

Funny you mention this as I have my eye suddenly on a 5164 a watch I think you were interested in until AP got to you.

I did pick up a 5167a about a month ago so after getting the Ti, it didn’t last I’m afraid! Never worn it out of the house so I sold it.

I am also considering the 5167 as a future piece. Any specific reasons why you didn’t bond with it?

Just didn’t work for me, it’s on the smaller size and very light which needed some getting used to but it was more the fact I originally wanted the 5164a but my head talked me into the 5167a.

The date sub dial at 6 and the pushers at 9 on the 5164a balance out a lot better but that’s all personal choice so would put anyone off from trying the 5167a as they might think the opposite.
