SS Sports Models availability Ireland
Just for the purposes of any visitors to Ireland, this week I saw a GMT II LN in the window of Hartman’s in Galway and a 114060 and GMT II LN in the display cabinet in Keane’s in Cork.
This bucks the trend from Dublin where, much like the UK, you will never see those models on display. |

Philippines
Was just in Manila, purchased a few Rolex there as they like to do a good deal. No SS sports models despite being a good customer. Real shame as I was looking for something.

Rolex AD in Nuneaton currently has a GMT II LN proudly on display in the window , and as of yesterday at closing time ,it was still sat there waiting patiently for someone to buy it .

The GMT LN has never been a problem to find along with the black DSSD

I was in Edinburgh last week and they had not one steel sports model. Like absolutely NONE. In fact they had a preowned SS GMT2 LN for £6,000, a mere £200 off list and it sold as I was there. Staff said sports models don’t get near the window. However tourists were everywhere and actively buying. Supply vs demand is horrendous just now, maybe not as tough in England. |

As someone from Dublin Ireland I would never purchase a Watch here. When I am in the market for a Rolex Watch I travel to a Grey Dealer in the North of England, where I have purchased several Watches, though not S/S Models. My latest purchase was made earlier this month when I bought a T/T Daytona 116503 (New Model) with White MOP 8 Diamonds Dial which I love. You would have to be crazy to buy a Rolex in Ireland. They are looking for mad money for them & yes I've been to Weir's in Dublin & was informed that they would honour the Warranties on the Watches I have purchased in the Uk because everything was above board. The Warranty Cards were filled out correctly & once this was done they said that they would have no problem with the Warranties. The Daytona I purchased earlier this month, Weir's were looking for 20, 250 Euro, even taking the conversion rate into consideration this Watch was cheaper by almost 2,000 Euro. In all over the past three years I have purchased three Rolexes while saving thousands of Euro
