Spanish Pics
Just got back from two weeks in Spain so I thought I'd share some travel pics.
Starting out in Bilbao with the Guggenheim museum. Fantastic building. Too bad the collection doesn't do it justice. Just to prove we were there. A giant spider sculpture A river shot. Then it was on to Barcelona Antoni Gaudi's Sacreda Familia (the symbol of Barcelona) - it's been under construction for nearly 75 years. Some of the decorations Another Gaudi building This is how they cover buildings they're working on. The main market off the Ramblas Razor clams we had some for dinner one night The hotel courtesy car Then it was on to Granada - and the Alhambra A view of the city Next stop was Cordoba where the main attraction is the old mosque that was turned into a church in the 15th century. Next came Seville An outdoor photo exhibit - called A Thousand Kisses A courtyard An incredible bridge A side trip just outside the city to an old Roman town called Italica. The mosaics were incredible Then on to Madrid All in all, a good time was had by all.

Thanks for all the compliments. I have several hundred more pics I can bore you with if you'ld like.
My wife gets annoyed because most of my photos are of buildings, scenary or other "arty" type views. She would prefer I take pictures of people. That's not my forte. But once in a while I take a picture of her so she will know she was there. I had paella once (at a restaurant in Barcelona called Las Carocolas). It was wonderful. We also ate a lot of tapas. Just about all the food we had was good, even at the highway rest stops. Much better than the garbage you get on the Interstates here in the States.
