literature about watches

Hi all,

I am quite new in the watch world but i get more and more interesses in it... Can you all recommend me titles of books i can buy to learn a bit more important things about history of watches etc?? I Always like to inform myself a lot about the subject i get interessed in. Now i read a lot on forums and view a lot of YouTube video's but i guess it would be better to read a bit more literature... Sorry for the bad english by the way, it is not my native language.

I am surprised no one has replied to you yet!

I am sort of the same level as you so there are not any books I can recommend, but I know there are books on the history of various brands like rolex that would probably be informative. Also, there is a book I want called A Man and His Watch, although not educational per se, it sounds like it gets to the heart of why people that like watches like watches, e.g. personal stories, memories of family and events, etc.

Probably not much help so I hope some of the more knowledgeable members see this thread and pass it forward.
