Black bezel insert for a 16610 was $60, plus tax. I purchased one last March/April at an AD in the US, where I was friends with the watchmaker. Same goes for the GMT II inserts...about $60.
Wish I would have purchased one for myself.

I want to say about four months ago. It was an exchange basis. The last one I purchased from an AD was $70 USD if I recall. Lately though Rolex has cranked down on that even if I'm reading some reports correctly.

$90.00 USD plus tax my cost for a genuine Rolex bezel insert from an AD; I've seen Rolex bezel inserts going for as much as $200 USD on line and on this forum.

Why do people pay a premium to a third party when the can be had much cheaper from Rolex or an AD?

because we cant get them in the u.s. from an ad,they could loose their license if they are caught selling parts...you have to get in really good with one....

My Ad has been able to get me certain parts for my watches, bracelets and end links mainly...but in some cases, they have restrictions on what bracelet & end links I can buy out right, some have to be on exchange only? Not really sure why, its just a bracelet.
