116520 aaaaaaand.....?

I'm drooooling at the possibility of a DD40 as my second and (if achieved) final Rolex for a loooong time.

Poll question being: If you had the 116520(white dial), what would you reach for next?

WG with Blue dial?

OR

RG with Olive dial?

Rando third option being your suggestions! Yes I'm still banging this idea around in my head. The incoming is...definitely coming soon; but since I'm still waiting for the actual day I may as well torture the forum and bounce a little more off my favorite digital geek squad.

Pics for good measure!

I'd probably pick the RG, but WG is very smart.

I tried both of your options recently at my AD and both are very nice but my vote is for the WG blue dial.

This. To me the tough call is WG Blue vs WG Olive. Can’t say where I come out on that one. But to the OP’s question WG Blue > RG Olive. Just my humble opinion of course YMMV.

From your choices, I'll take the blue DD40. But, if the WG/Olive is a choice, then game over.

As an option, platinum with olive roman dial and diamond bezel.

I tried these bad boys on and love them both; but I’m wondering if having SS and WG are too similar looking. I could definitely entertain the WG/Olive combo though I’ve seen HL65

I would definitely take a look at the WG/Olive before you make your decision.

I'd go WG with Blue...more versatile and with two watches covers the most dress options.

I voted WG Blue but the WG Black is a stunner and shouldn't be overlooked.

W/G & Olive gets my vote too. I love the WG Daytona w/ blue but you already have a daytona.

Yeah I think I’m leaning towards the WG blue if not the green

WG looks just like SS to me. How about YG/Champagne/Stick...the way the DD was meant to be :)
Otherwise RG and Olive

At a quick view it looks like SS (is it all allowed for a German to use this abbreviation? ) but in detail WG looks a bit different.
And that´s what intrigues me. I know that it is WG and if somewone who is familiar with the Rolex models recognizes this too.
But I understand your thinking.

Before being advised by the pole, hold an Everose piece in your hand. They are amazing. .... highly recommended!
