After you get the police report number, you can alert Rolex to the theft. They will keep the watch serial number in the registry for Service Centers to check.

This, of course, is more of a long term step to take. Hopefully your description to local authorities will do the most good towards apprehension and potential recovery of your Sub.

My own experience was losing 4 Rolexes to burglars. All were reported to Rolex after the police report. Within 2 weeks the thief was caught by police and one of the 4 watches recovered. That’s why acting locally is the swiftest method IMHO.

I’m sure you’ve done that - just sharing for other readers who may face the same fate you and I have experienced.

Go to stolen watches page on IG and alert them as well. Alert Rolex once you have a police report. Alert all local pawn shops as well. Local police will be your best chance to recover.
