New member here and just wanting to learn about Rolex and other brands of watches but mainly Rolex. I recently, this past weekend, went to a store and looked at their NIB watches. The store had several to look at and try on. I really loved the model 126334 Date Just with the dark Rhodium dial with diamonds and the jubilee bracelet and i looked at the same watch with the blue dial ( I am partial to blue but the Dark Rhodium really looks great) and w/o the diamonds, Would you say the diamonds are worth the extra "roughly" 2K? Not sure when i will be able to get my first rolex but will consider getting a LNIB one to help keep the cost down a bit. Thanks for your time with helping this newbie

Tony of JUSTROLEXES just landed me a superb 116520 SS Daytona in box with papers...sheesh, I even found some old stickers on the watch.

The diamonds aren’t my thing, but there’s no right or wrong. If you like them get the dial with the diamonds.
I’d reach out to Takuya! He’ll take care of you. Welcome and good luck! |

Welcome!
I can wholeheartedly recommend Tony/JUSTROLEXES, Matt/mdgrwl from my personal experience. Patrick/OCROLEXGUY, David/DavidSW, Thanh/Takuya, etc. are also users who have a TON of recommendations and handle a lot of transactions, so while I don't have experience with them personally, they have a great track record. The 'professional' sellers aside, there are a lot of individual sellers/flippers but your milage might vary. As they say - buy the seller, not the watch. Rolex watches (in case you are after that specific brand) are made in high volume so if you don't trust an offer, wait for an offer from somebody with a great reputation. |

Welcome to TRF...personally, the diamonds wouldn't be worth it for me, but it's your call.

If you are not absolutely 100% sure about diamonds, don't get them. If you know you want them, buy secondhand at a bargain. Be sure it's genuine as there are a lot of Franken diamond dials.

Welcome from NY
Diamonds aren’t worth it to me but if it sets it off for you then it’s worth every penny. Thanh Do ( AKATakuya ) would be my recommendation and I’ve dealt with several sellers on both ends of the deal.
