My New (to me) Lange 1

Thought I would share my new to me Lange 1. I traded a couple of watches for this. I have lusted after this one for a while. About 10 years ago I got my first Lange an 36mm 1815 bought it new and still have it.

Love them both. You don't see this color combination too often a black dial with rose gold. I just love it and the size is perfect for my wimpy wrist.

Really nice!

You're right, you don't see that metal/dial combination too often.

Yes 38.5mm I believe. It looks bigger on my 6.75" wrist.

Excellent score! I've always been intrigued by the black dial Lange 1 but have yet to actually find especially a RG one. Congrats!

Many congrats, that is a rare model, I'm usually a white dial guy with dress pieces but very nice.

Thank you all

For the well wishes and compliments. I had to share it and simply could not contain myself not to.

I do agree with the white or silver dial for dress watches comment, but I have that covered with a few of my other dress watches I had. But this one pulls it off nicely with the black dial. It is more like a chocolate then a pure black.

Congratulations...I’ve been looking at the Lange 1 these past few weeks as well. Still deciding between a SS 116520, a JLC MUT Perpetual, or a Lange 1.

Lovely piece. Something about Lange and big window numbers seems perfect.

Super nice, OP! Rare combo and I think the black dial gives it a touch more sporty-edge.

I've seen and tried it on before at a grey dealer. Absolutely beautiful w a very uncommon RG/Black dial combo. Congrats on a great find
