Titus Calypsomatic
I caught another Titus Calypsomatic ref. 7985 to add to my collection but this one is the best of the lot, condition wise. The bezel is almost spotless and the gilt gloss gilt dial is a sight to look at. The case is unpolished and the movement is very clean. My lousy pictures does not do justice to the watch.

Is Titus Swiss? Never heard of them, assume that they are out of business.

I now see it says Geneve when one blows up the caseback picture.

The Titus brand has been around until the early 90s I think and the Calypsomatic is one of the more collectible models.

Just found this thread. What an amazing piece! Wear it in a good health. I found a brown dial 7840 recently. Can not be happier :)

Congratulations on the new 7985!
For those of us who can't (or can) dabble in the no crown guard gilt Sub market, the Calypsomatics offers a lot of the same charm without being a copy or carrying the hefty price tag. I restored a big crown 7085 as my daily wearer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
