44mm AR ROO FC or Ti?

Close to pulling the trigger on one of these. These two are the most appealing due to their weight, or lack of. Which one would be better and why? Thanks!

Go for the Ti, you will be happier, newer case, stronger, FC tends to lose their sharp edges with wear, it happened to mine. I've had all of them except the Platinum and the Summer Editions and the Ti is among my favorites!

I had the FC. Its a great piece, but you will start to see the edges lose sharpness over time.

Wonder what's the hardness of FC. Lowest of all? Ceramic > Steel > Titanium > FC?

Thank you all for your valuable input. Just tried on the FC just to be sure. As all of you have recommended, I put deposit on the Ti. I'll be sure to post when I get it. Cheers!

That's reassuring. My wrist is only 6.5" so I was really really hesitant on this decision. I decided to go ahead with the purchase regardless because I liked the 44mm ROOs so much. It's really nice to hear such a comment. :)

Good choice on the Ti. I think the FC material is cool, but as others have said, it tends to wear out over time and there's no reversing it other than a completely new case (which is $$$). The edges lose sharpness, material comes off and it loses it matte finish and becomes shiny in some areas too.

Congrats, excellent choice!

It depends also on the width of the wrist than just a circumference. 44 ROO looks great on you!

Congrats, you made the right choice!

Looks good on you, too. I also have a 6.5” wrist and surprisingly this one doesn’t look too big on guys like us.

(Not mine, just trying it on)

Thanks guys! It's especially comforting to hear from the pros :) It's getting warmer and I can't wait to get it on my wrist. Will be sure to upload some photos soon. Cheers!

Congrats.
I've had the FC for a good few years now. I wear in rotation, hasn't lost any of its sharpness that I can see and above all is so light and easy to wear.

I keep hearing about FC wear but after 5+ years of wearing my FC diver I haven't noticed any wear other than the rubber crowns.

I also have 2 FC cases (44mm and Concept) and did a bunch of scratch and drop tests and it was way more robust than SS. Harder to stratch and didnt dent when dropped.

I would take the Ti 44mm over the FC 44mm. Like the dial and color combo more and AP does Ti better than anyone.
