Icon20 Found This Hand Wound Watch On Kickstarter

Hi all.

Hope y'll good

Just uploaded a new video on a cool kickstarter watch I've managed to get my hands on. Nice elegant style with a beautifully decorated ETA 6948 hand wind movement. More details here. I'd love to know what you guys think both of the video I've done and the watch itself.

Looks like you're promoting the Kickstarter? Personally for me, 43mm is dinner-plate territory for a watch that is mostly dial. Finishing looks OK though.

Its just a china parts catalog watch with a swiss looking 6497. You can buy the case parts on ebay and pick a dial, buy a real swiss 6497 from offri and put it together. I see no value in this watch.

Lopok up archimede, demasko, tourby baume and mercier, vickers maybe even stowa and laco

43mm for dress style watches?

No thanks.

Also not really a fan of their dials or some of the stuff in the descriptions.

"Many watch companies emphasise “Swiss Movement” instead of "Swiss Made" which does not mean that their watches are made in Switzerland! "

I don't think I've ever seen any company emphasize "Swiss Movement"

For close to 1k, I can probably make a list of 100 watches I'd rather have from well established manufacturers.
