Northeast Nor’easter Pictures

We are getting hit hard now. Good luck everyone who is being effected by this storm she’s got some power and hasn’t let up yet.

I live in Western NY and we’ve experienced all 4 seasons in the last 10 days.
Thursday there was no snow left on the ground where I am, yesterday brought a foot of wet, heavy snow!
Here’s a pic of my street taken at the end of the storm.

I used to live in Rochester, NY. I have very fond memories of sailing on lake Ontario in the summertime. I used to crew on a 30' Pearson. I liked that area of New York but man, I don't miss the weather.

Go Bills!

Wow. I'm in New Orleans and have been through quite a few storms in my time including Katrina. Nothing I would wish upon anyone. Fingers crossed.

I just got out of Newark in time to miss that. Took a long time to get home, missed the first set of my Friday night gig, but was bumped to 1st class for the last flight. So I got something out of the deal.

My troubles pale in comparison. Hope all made it out safe.

Here in Buffalo we got over a foot of wet heavy snow in less than 24 hours. We need spring!

We had a pretty nasty wind storm, no snow or bomb cycle. Lots of people lost power, and the local airports and pilots landing planes seemed to have their hands full. And, I think we got off easy compared to the folks to the north.

Dan, let us know the next time your in NJ. I would like to stop by, say hello and enjoy the music.

There are a few power outages and lots of tree damage. The wind gusts reminded me of Hurricane Sandy. Still gusty today but not as bad as yesterday.

We lost the biggest tree in our yard but got lucky as it only took out part of the fence and missed the house by about 10 feet. Getting anywhere yesterday was a challenge due to a ton of accidents (near our house the Merritt Parkway @ Greenwich was shut down for hours) and closed streets due to downed trees. Still windy today.
