My old bracelet broke and didn't feel like sending out to rolex for however long ,so I sourced a super jubilee for it . Trying to find a local jeweler to fix my oyster but figured I wear this until then maybe sell or trade for a sub bracelet ,but I like it so who knows .

Just curious, how did your ouster band brake? I thought they were indestructible these new ones!

Nothing about watches is indestructible. Its amazing, given their small size and parts, they hold up as well as they do. The Oyster bracelet is only as tough as the spring bar inside.

It broke at the weld and can't find any local places to laser weld it ,rolex might fix might not ..

Since you have a substitute bracelet why not send the Oyster to Rolex to repair. They are totally first class, second to none on service. You will be probably surprised at the reasonable cost and quick turnaround. Once a third party welds it, Rolex will not fix, if that person's weld is not working. Why risk it.

That's one nice thing about the old stamped oyster bracelets...no welds to break.

I was under the impression you can't just send in the bracelet need to be the whole watch ?

I had to turn in the whole watch and bracelet to RSC even though they ended by replacing two links at the lugs and the one end link by the clasp. They would not accept just the bracelet for whatever reasons.
