New addition....but will be off to APSC Monday for a facial

Just picked up this mint 39mm SS ROC. Been on the hunt for the past year for an H serial that's complete with box and papers. Finally landed one today.

Will send it off to APSC on Monday for a dial swap - to the deep navy dial (just like Fred's gorgeous SS ROC). Can hardly wait to get it back.

Thanks Adam.

The orange hands and markers on the current dial just don't do it for me - I have a navy ROC dial that was ordered and been sitting at APSC since last April so I gotta get this "itch" scratched.

Sure Chad. It's this blue here. Either blue, both very cool. This was my first AP love though :-)

Leave it alone. To each their own but that's a unique configuration which isn't common. I'm actually surprised to hear APSC is willing to swap out the dial and hands, my understanding was they generally will not perform that sort of service to take it out of the serial factory specs.

Congrats but leave that dial/hand combo. So unique and sporty it’s a classic

I've done several dial changes with the APSC including a dial change on my 15300, and on a 15400 for a friend. As long as the dial is available at AP in Switzerland (or Clearwater), it can be done.

Thanks
I paid $1,450 for the navy ROC dial when I ordered it last year (price may have gone up since). The price includes installation. If I keep the original dial (which I plan to do), then I have to pay an additional $175. If the APSC keeps the original dial, then it's just $1,450.

If you need my help, pls PM me.

Will they also change the color of the date wheel if you ask them nicely?

Congrats! Not an easy model to find. I’ve been drooling over Fred’s ever since he first posted pics.

I’m with you - I prefer the dark navy dial. Good move.

As far as I know, the 39mm ROC with reference 26300 offered only the white date wheel on all dial colours.

I have a copy of the 2011 AP Catalogue and all 26300 models show the white date.

Yes but the new models have the navy date wheel for the same movement. Just an idea.

Oh I see. Sorry I misunderstood you.

I prefer to keep the white date wheel so it can be true to its original form.

Great suggestion though.
