Well, nothing goes with everything like black does, but I once owned a Hulk and I wore it with EVERYTHING!

The dial changes colour quite a bit depending on the light so it’s more versatile than you might initially think.

I wouldn't say green is as versatile as black, as black goes with pretty much anything. That being said, to me the 116610LV is such a stunning piece, I'm ok with it standing out or not matching 100%

yeah I agree with this. If you want a versatility "sure thing", black will never fail. That said, the LVC is surprisingly versatile. I've worn it with all different colors, suits, t shirts, button downs, bathing suits, etc. It works surprisingly well, and yes, definitely stands out compared to the black.

It goes with a lot.

However, I'm the guy always telling people here NOT to pair a Hulk with a green shirt or green sweater. Too matchy-matchy.

I think the Hulk looks amazing with black, navy, white or grey. Especially a classic navy. A green/navy combo can be really good.

Truthfully, virtually no one will notice your watch at all, and even fewer will notice that it doesn’t “match”. If you love it, wear it.

I routinely see people wearing Apple watches with suits. Don’t worry about the Hulk not matching.

Ironically I was wearing a pink dress shirt the day I left work and walked into the AD to pick mine up- I'll admit those 2 colors aren't the best match. Didn't phase me in the slightest though, I was too pumped to finally have the watch!

Yes, very versatile, just like a green pair of shoes or green cowboy hat. They all look great with a tux too.

Wear it with anything you are comfortable with. What matters is how you feel about it.

LV is extremely versatile. Maybe I wouldn’t wear it with a tuxedo. But that’s about it. Best thing about the Hulk is the unlimited amount of color variations the sunburst dial creates. You will never get bored with it. So as long as you’re able to break a few fashion rules, which you’d be breaking anyways with a submariner in general, it’s easily worn with about anything.

I had my reservations before picking up my LV, because of perceived versatility issues. But, I do find myself wearing it an awful lot, it's alot more versatile than you think.

I think the LV is very versatile. Only exceptions from my perspective would be when you're wearing a tux or attending a funeral.

Yes. I have worn my LVc with everything and have taken it on 3 long vacations. It goes with everything and looks good.

only in direct light will the hulk's dial look green. Almost in all other scenarios, from a few feet away (across the table at a meeting), the dial looks black. The green bezel will go with everything casual, as well as variety of suits. (see the thread 'hulk in a suit' that I came across in a search here.... https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=387030)

It’s an all purpose watch so all good in most environments, I would wear the green sub in any situation I’d wear a black sub

I think it’s extremely versatile. It can be worn with sneakers and Jeans, but it’s special enough to be worn with a suit.
