Will AP release new 'racing' watches?

Hi all,

The AP ROO 44 is my all time favourite watch. The ROO 42 is also a sweet piece.
Over the years, we've seen limited edition racing style watches. The RB ( and II,III), various versions of the GP, same goes for the Schumi etc.

Will we see more....and when? Or are they done and dusted?

I realise this is all speculation- I for one would jump on a new release.

Here's hoping....

Cheers!

Who is left? Hamilton, Vettel (Hublot), Rosberg (IWC)? Doesn't work for me somehow, even Lewis who has a RG 44 as well.

They always put extra effort on racing models...

Montoya with racing flag tapisserie, RB, GP, Schumi with different bezel and screws resembling Formula tire screws and little extra details (Schumi championship stars, Brasil colors on chrono hands....), Trulli and Buemi that are one of few modern 42mm ROOs without Arabic numbers... ceremet bezel on Trulli...

If AP makes a watch for LH, I will sell every single AP I own.

They were done with racers when Trulli signed his limited AP box with PP Nautilus on the wrist

Between IWC endorsement deals Hamilton loved to strap some AP....

nothing wrong with enjoying a diverse collection even under an endorsement deal but come on wearing a PP to an AP promotion is bad form IMO

It doesn't have to have an ambassador or name attached to it.
Like the Grand Prix versions.

I dunno- I find the allure of a limited edition racing watch, with interesting colours hard to resist. I am a massive car enthusiast though.
