Daytona C

How much did you sell your brand new Daytona C to the gray market ( Davidsw, Bob Rolex etc)? I am on the waiting list at the AD and wanted to know the mark up the gray market made from your purchase. Also does those gray market discount price on they website or prices are as is without bargain. Thanks

I would just wait. Not worth the mark up to me. At MSRP a great choice. At current mark ups I would be looking at another watch. As above when Igot home out of the coffin, stickers off, resized, then o n the wrist.

First post and welcome. The prices are only rising in the secondary market. 12.4 retail. Secondary is up to 20k. Crazy

Or you could let someone else buy it who wants to wear it.

I had a chance to buy a white one and a black one at an AD last week. I bought the white one. I absolutely love it. It's incredible. I did not buy the black one - I probably should have, but I don't enjoy selling watches and didn't want the hassle as my wife and I started our vacation.

I am next to receive one and they called to tell me they are getting a Daytona but likely the black dial. I turned it down because I want the white dial. I had considered paying the premium or selling my 116520 to fund most of it but glad I did not as I love my black Dial SS Daytona and am in line for my ceramic model!

Ding ding.

Or...you could just look for yourself what they are going for in the classifieds and not post here, rubbing it in people's faces that have been waiting patiently for one. Just a thought. Oh, and welcome.

Are you wanting to ascertain how much money the trusted seller is gonna make off of you when you sell your NIB Daytona to them? Make sure you really stick it to the reseller and escalate that secondary market price as high as you can. This whole forum says "Thanks".

Lol so true. Came in today and not that I was truly thinking about selling, but I can't imagine not wearing this thing.

Off a 20K piece that's in really high demand. I'd say they'll knock off a couple hundred bucks at the most if you ask nice. Generally there's a little bit of room on regular pieces, but on the hotter items I think the pricing is pretty firm.

I got on the list at my AD for a black dial, which I was told was easier to get than the white dial. Of course a white dial showed up a couple of weeks later and I was offered it. Really couldn't pass it up, so I now own a white dial Daytona. Won't be getting a black dial anytime soon, as I certainly would not be able to sell my wife on two versions of the same watch. One was hard enough...
